I was just asked by another Jen who is also in the children's book industry to write about my experiences with resilience. I already knew several Jen's. Including my editor for two of my book's, Jennifer Wingertzhan and several of her office mates at Clarion Books. And my good friend and fellow children's book author/illustrator Jennifer Mann, whose birthday I share as well as a career and an agency. So when I got the request I was already confused because I thought I was corresponding with my friend Jennifer Mann, not the other Jennifer Mann who I knew existed but I had never met.
